Food Cart Pod Application

• 17.126.030 for permit procedures for Type I (2-carts) and Type II (3+ carts)
• 17.126.040 for food cart pod standards
• 17.126.050 for the standards related to each individual food cart

NOTE: Food cart permits are no longer processed through Temp-Use permits since 2019 adoption of SDC 17.126

APPROVED FOOD CART POD;

The 1st Food Cart Pod Type II application was approved the by the Scappoose Planning Commission on July 28th, 2022.  The link to that meeting can be found in the link below, along with the Planning Commission packet and meeting minutes; PLANNING COMMISSION | City of Scappoose Oregon

Note; Food Carts located within this new POD, do not require additional Planning Dept. Food Cart applications as it is already a permitted Food Cart Pod.  Although you will need to the following items;

•  City of Scappoose Business License (503-543-7146)
•  Fire Marshal inspection/approval (503-543-5026)
• Columbia County Public Health Department approval (503-397-7247).
