Zone Change
Zone Change Application below.
Before you can submit the Zone Change application, you must first attend a Pre-Application meeting to discuss the application process, receive the relevant Development Code approval criteria and Comprehensive Plan Goals and Policies your application must be in conformance with, and to receive any other comments from City staff or agency partners that pertain to your request. As a preliminary step, you can also apply for an Inquiry Meeting for higher level questions if you are not quite ready to submit for a Pre-Application meeting yet. Link to both applications can be found in the blue menu bar to right.
- INQUIRY meetings are suggested if you have questions about the appropriate zoning of your property, questions related to availability or capacity of City services to serve your property or need a better understanding of the land use approval process.
- This gives you and/or your team an hour with our City Planner and City Engineer to discuss your proposal.
- Fee is $260 which could be applied to your Pre-Application meeting fee if the Pre-Application documents are received within 6 months of your meeting date for the same site.
- PRE-APPLICATION meetings are required prior to submitting your Zone Change application.
- City staff and agency partners are invited to the meeting along with you/your consultant team to review your proposal and provide feedback on any initial concerns or observations about your request, to discuss the relevant Development Code approval criteria and Comprehensive Plan Goals and Policies your application must be in conformance with, and to discuss the land use process and timeline for approval.
- Fee is $750
