Voter Approved Local Fuel Tax

City of Scappoose’s local fuel tax was approved by Scappoose voters by the passage of Measure 5-275, imposing a three cent per gallon fuel tax. The Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax is detailed in Ordinance 883, which was effective January 1st, 2020 and will sunset on December 31, 2029.

Please complete the following forms. (1) the Application for Motor Vehicle Fuel Dealer License, (2) the Dealer Certificate form, and (3) the Fuel Tax License Tax Monthly Report form. Please return the completed and signed Application and Dealer Certificate form to City Hall, Attention Carol Almer 33568 E. Columbia Avenue, Scappoose, OR 97056.

Please complete the Monthly Fuel Tax Report form which can be emailed, faxed or mailed.  Please make your check payable to City of Scappoose, 33568 E Columbia Avenue, Scappoose OR 97056.  You can also remit your payment electronically using this link.  https://client.pointandpay.net/web/CityofScappooseOR.
