KEYS ROAD WATER TREATMENT PLANT – FILTER BASIN ROOF

The City of Scappoose invites submission of quotes to provide metal fabrication and installation services for a roof and enclosure for a filter basin at the Keys Road Water Treatment Plant.
An optional site visit will be held on August 20, 2020 at 10:00 am. The meeting will be held outdoors and all restrictions pertaining to COVID-19 shall apply. To RSVP to the optional site visit or receive the construction plans, please email: hwhite@cityofscappoose.org
SCOPE OF WORK
- Fabrication and installation of a custom metal roof and enclosure over an existing concrete filter basin at the Keys Road Water Treatment Plant.
- All welding of fabricated parts must be done by a certified welder.
- Hot-dip galvanization of all parts after fabrication.
- All siding and roof panels are required to be ASC 26-guage ‘Super-Span’ panels or approved equivalent.
- All materials used shall be NSF 61 certified or equivalent per OAR 333-06-0050(1)(e).
- Contractor shall provide adequate bracing and support for temporary construction and for structural components as required during installation.
- All design and material specifications are included on the Construction Plans available from the City.
- A building permit is required; however, permit fees shall be waived by the City.
OTHER INFORMATION
Quotes will be evaluated based on price. Quotes must be prepared on a Lump Sum (LS) basis.
To be considered for this project, Contractors must have an active Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) License. All building permitting and inspection scheduling is managed via the State of Oregon’s E-permitting program.
Contractor shall be required to comply with all applicable public contracting requirements.
Contractors that would like to inquire as to City of Scappoose standard contract provisions may do so prior to the submittal deadline.
The City of Scappoose may reject for good cause any or all quotes upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so.

The final Notice of Award of Contract shall be given to all Contractors who submitted a quote by the City of Scappoose within five (5) working days following the submittal deadline.
Copies of this notice, addenda and amendments to this package will be available on the City’s website at: https://www.ci.scappoose.or.us/rfps. It is the responsibility of contractor to ensure that they have the most up to date information prior to submitting their quote.
Contractors should carefully examine the plans, specifications, and other documents, and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which can in any way affect the work or the cost thereof. Should a contractor find discrepancies in, or omissions from the plans, specifications or other documents, or should be in doubt as to their meaning, please obtain clarification prior to submitting any quote from:
